Where in World app for iPhone and iPad

Where in World allows you to search for all the interesting places around you or around another city somewhere in the world.

If you travel a lot, Where in World is the ideal companion to have on your mobile device. If you arent sure where the nearest Restaurant, Gas Station, Grocery Store, Movie Theater, Coffee Shop, Pet Store is located, just click on one of the 31 predefined buttons and Where in World will show you a complete list of all the venues you have selected along with the distance from where you are currently located. If you live in the United States, pressing the Fuel Prices button will show you the price of fuel at a gas station in your area. If you select a row on the Fuel Prices display, a screen showing turn-by-turn directions to that gas station will be presented.

Unlike some of the similar Apps that are available, Where in World has 631 ready-to-use venues that are just a click away. The upgraded version of this app has an "All Venues" button which displays venues (items) in 10 major categories:

For each venue, you can choose to see where it is on a Map and view the route. The paid version gives you turn-by-turn directions from your location to your destination (routes only valid in the U.S., Canada and Mexico). Many of the venues appear on the list with a photo so that you can get a sense of what it looks like. If the business serves food or accepts reservations, Menu and Reservations buttons are available. If you are at a given establishment and you want to notify one of your friends where you are, just press the "Send Msg" button and an email will be formatted with the name of the business and its street address and city. The upgraded version of Where in World has an "Hours/Info" button. If you press it, a screen will appear showing you the following information about the venue:
